Feeling Anxious? Pent up? All over the place? LK Mind Body Wellness offers forty-five minute 1:1 sessions using a combination of acupuncture, acupressure, meditation, breath work, yin yoga, essential oils and sound to help untie the knots that pent up or hidden emotions can create. These sessions are specifically curated to empower and provide safe space for teens and young adults, ages 14-22, who are interested in exploring alternative methods alongside traditional therapy or as a stand alone method for stress reduction.

Being a mother of an anxious teen with ADHD, I have been able to witness first hand the positive effects of these modalities on my own child. The teen/Young Adult (TYA) session was inspired by my daughter’s journey to take care of her mental well being, to get unstuck and find the calm hiding within. The TYA sessions offer an alternative way for moving stuck emotions and creating noticeable energy shifts as you step toward and through difficult emotions with greater ease.

10 sessions over 4 months is recommended to start your journey, at which point we move to bi-weekly and monthly sessions as your body and mind relax into a new way of being.

What’s Included:

This mind/body healing package is my foundational treatment method for moving stuck emotions and balancing the nervous system. In East Asian medicine emotions are considered Qi (aka energy). To balance the emotions, especially when one or more tend to live at the forefront of our day to day experience, we need to promote movement and free flow. I use a combination of Acupuncture, Yin Yoga (meridian stretching), Breath Awareness, Acupressure, Japanese meridian therapy, essential oils, sound medicine and meditation to do this. These sessions give you the tools to take your emotional healing to the next level, safely. Sessions are scheduled weekly for the first 5-10 sessions and then we move toward more independent practice.
